World renowned financial services organisation requires a technically strong qualified accountant to perform the role of Chief Financial Accountant. This is initially a maternity position, though with real prospects of permanent opportunities arising for the right individual within the business.
Managing a sizeable team, based both internally and remotely, this is a key role within the Investments team. You will be managing the production of annual statutory financial accounts for a number of legal entities in accordance with IFRS, as well as controlling the regulatory reporting to the FSA. Group reporting for 4 legal entities, broken down by customer group and business level, also forms crucial criteria for this position.
The successful individual must be able to demonstrate a track record of working in a diverse and highly regulated environment and possess the interpersonal skills to liaise confidently with key stake holders across the business. Proven people leadership skills and strong financial accounting background are essential, ideally gained within an FS environment.
