Our client, a rapidly expanding group of hotels, currently has an excellent opportunity for a Financial Controller to join their finance team in a key role with potential for the right individual to move up to FD in due course.
Managing a team of five individuals, you will report into the Managing Director, with a dotted line into the Group FD. You will initially focus on how detailed management information is reported, and will be tasked with developing the reporting pack, KPIs and budget model for the next financial year. You will also be responsible for preparing the audit files, training and development of the Senior Accountants, reviewing and making any amendments to the management accounts that they produce and presenting to the board. Additionally, you will play a key a crucial part the operational side of the business and will identify ways of improving efficiencies and minimising costs.
Either qualified or qualified by experience, a background in the hotel industry and a working knowledge of hotel operations is essential for this role. You will also need to be commercially strong and possess strong IT and Excel skills. A competitive benefits package including a bonus of up to 5k accompanies this role.
