**** Welfare Benefits Officer ****

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Welfare Benefits Advisor to join our well established client based in Eastleigh.

The role
You will be based in the Eastleigh branch, however will be part of a wider specialist team with bases at Portsmouth and Aldershot, you will play key role in developing and enhancing our clients welfare benefits service. You will do this by providing accurate and understandable advice on resident's eligibility resulting from changes in circumstances, you may also be required to discuss finance, health and personal matters.

The person
You required excellent empathy for this role; ideally you will come from a similar background, with a detailed knowledge on the current welfare benefits system, criteria and legislation. You will have experience supporting vulnerable people within a community and working with other agencies. Excellent communication, interviewing and organisation skills are important for this role.
