Interior Designer
Interior Designer required to join a very busy, fast expanding Commercial Design and Building organisation, with a large UK wide Client Base. The successful Interior Designer will have experience of working within the OFFICE design industry for at least 3 years and be looking for a new challenge where they will be able to broaden their horizons and gain further experience whilst working the design team, during this exciting stage of growth.
The successful Interior Designer will be client facing and have experience and the confidence in pitching design proposals. Duties will vary and include:
- Brief taking and scheme development
- Concept design proposals including finishes boards and presentation documents
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team an on own initiative
- Sketch up
- CAD is essential for this role
- Revit experience is desirable but not essential
- Building Surveys
- Construction Drawings, detailed drawings and schedules
- A good knowledge of materials and current design trends
- Knowledge of current Building regulations
- Knowledge of ALL Microsoft Office - including Word, PowerPoint
- Quark Express experience
