Our client based in the surrounding Bournemouth, Dorset area, are looking to recruit a Demand Planner/Forecasting Analyst. The Demand Planner/Forecasting Analyst, would be joining a well establish retail company on a permanent basis.

The Demand Planner/Forecasting Analyst, is responsible for building strong relationships to increase supply visibility and to identify and drive supply performance improvements whilst also arranging availability of stock lines from UK and International suppliers.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Taking ownership of forecasts and communication of forecast changes and production priorities
• Utilising systems to create effective replenishment cycles to improve availability and reduce stockholding
• Work closely with the buying department in order to understand the companies short, medium and long term demand
• Arrange replenishment of stock through data analysis and order placement

The ideal candidate will need to have solid experience of demand planning and forecasting and previous experience of working in a retail environment would be desirable.
