Clinical Risk Care Advisor/Health Care Nurse

£24,000-£28,000 plus excellent benefits – Hours 9am-5pm.

Our client based in Bournemouth, Dorset are looking for an oncology Health Care/ Nurse to join the Clinical Risk Management team of this well-known company. This job would suit a fully trained Oncology Nurse looking to move away from a shift pattern/hospital environment who may be looking to use their medical experience but within an office environment.

You will have an excellent understanding of Oncology medical conditions, treatments and medical specialities as you will be responsible for the management of a personal case load of referred medical claims. You will have an ability to confidently challenge and negotiate on treatment delivery and costs, balancing achievement of maximum possible savings with customer service levels whilst being aware of when challenging costs would be inappropriate.

It is essential that you have a recognised nursing or associated qualification, (Doctor, PAM RGN, SRN or ENG) and it would be essential that you have worked within an oncology department. You will provide customers with a personal and professional case-management service, making savings where appropriate and providing an informed advice service to customers and providers alike you will assess assigned cases by obtaining and analysing relevant information in order to make the appropriate technical decision. This is an office based role but the company will support you to keep up to date with your nursing qualifications/membership and any addition training required – they may also consider a part-time Nurse looking for additional hours.
