Our client based in the surrounding Bournemouth area are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Operations Manager. The Operations Manager will be working at well-known and rapidly expanding company, and will joining the growing Supply Chain and Logistics teams.
As a Senior Operations Manager you will report directly to the MD, you will provide motivational and inspirational leadership to all Operations staff, in order to help them develop themselves, their teams and the overall aspect of their department. The Senior Operations Manager will play a vital role in the functionality and structure of the operation as well having a massive impact on both the customer experience and on bottom line performance within the company.
The main responsibilities of the Senior Operations Manager will be:
• Production planning and forecast
• Design and implement numerous improvement projects in order to streamline processes
• Manage a team of Operations staff, manage and report KPI daily analysis.
• Evaluate and measure the departmental goals, work processes and daily production goals.
• Overall management of stock and logistics
• Business analysis and partnerships across the business with Retail and Finance leaders to develop new operating opportunities.
In order to be considered for this exciting opportunity, the ideal candidate will be a creative and commercial thinker who is capable of delivering financial targets. A background of working in a 3PL Warehouse Management, Supply Chain, Logistics or Manufacturing background is highly desirable.
Experience of strong people management, knowledge of manufacturing and operational improvement as well as excellent oral and written communication are all requirements for the role.
It would also be preferable if the Senior Operations Manager had a passion for Bikes, Outdoor sports and activities.
