Our Client based in central Bournemouth, Dorset are recruiting for an Events Co-ordinator to join their team in this highly successful local hotel group. As the Events Co-ordinator it is your responsibility to ensure the operation departments runs smoothly and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Taking enquires and bookings for conference and banqueting events, either over the telephone or face to face.
• Diary management, in order to maximise space and revenue
• Build positive client relationships
• Follow up all sales opportunities
• Arrange hire of equipment, entertainment and order decorations e.g flowers
• Be actively involved in sales projects, attend sales meetings and entertaining clients.
• Show potential clients around the event facilities and sell the products to them.

The ideal candidate will have previous event management experience ideally within hotels and ideally have experience working in hotel reservations. You will have excellent customer service and organisation skills. Be confident selling the event facilities, maximising sale opportunities and be IT literate.
