Advanced Level PHP Developer required for this new challenging role based in Bournemouth.
In your current role you should be working and/or have expert knowledge of developing applications using PHP in a commercial environment (this should be large scale sites utilising databases). Essential skills include PHP / Linux / MySQL / Apache / XML. You should be driven to succeed, enjoy working with others and be able to take responsibility for projects.

The position is predominantly backend development, though you will gain/have exposure to the full web development process. You would be working as part of a team, however at times you will be required to work by yourself and to use your own initiative. • Have at least 3 year's web development experience in a commercial environment
• Be able to produce cross browser and device compatible, web standards compliant code
• Be able to comprehensively check and test your work, including any javascript error debugging
• Be efficient in your work but able to pay attention to detail
• Be expert and up to date with HTML/CSS and javascript technologies
• Experience with popular frameworks & technologies, in particular jQuery and Ajax
• Strong MySQL Database knowledge and skill is essential
• Be competent in Linux server administration and maintenance.
