Our client based in Bournemouth Town Centre are looking for a Communications Officer to join this well established and successful team. This role will ideally suit an experienced Communications/PR specialist from a journalism, publishing or similar background. The ideal candidate for the role will have experience of producing copy, editing and proofing a range of high profile, internal and external communications materials, both in publication and online.
You will be responsible for:
•Overall responsibility for publishing a wide range of copy, to high publishable standards, within tight deadlines, including reports, presentations and web content.
•Summarising complicated information and ensuring that it is suitable for a variety of external audiences.
•Taking responsibility if and when to publish information which has the potential to be sensitive/controversial.
•Ability to accurately proof read all copy to be published internally and externally, to ensure it is 100% clear of errors and in line with the MBS style guide.
•Responsible for writing press releases and/or web pages following analysis of complicated sensitive material.
•Responsible for coordinating, delivering and producing communications related to project work both internally and externally.
This position is to start immediately and you will be employed on a fixed term contract basis.
