L&D Manager - £43-50k + benefits - Bournemouth - Permanent
An experienced and versatile L&D Manager is required to join an exciting and changing organisation who have a highly recognisable presence both in Dorset and across the UK. As L&D Manager you will help implement the L&D strategy by working with key stakeholders within the business ensuring training material is always relevant and easily accessible.
There is an exciting period of change going on within the business so the post holder will be joining at a vital time to ensure the L&D plan is confidently delivered.
Key responsibilities will include:-
·Manage the Learning and Development budget
·Establish and manage an effective filtering, scheduling and capacity management system/Governance Framework to validate and prioritise requirements
·Make disciplined and effective use of TNA which is continually improved to deliver consistent high quality and usable data/ROI
·Research and design appropriate and cost effective interventions in response to identified and validated training needs, schedule, design and deliver on budget and on time. Manage outsourcing where required
·Establish effective management information to measure team performance e.g. return on investment, workload capacity and forecasting against TNA
·Establish and manage relationships with a variety of other internal customers, working with them collaboratively to understand the business needs, prioritise and manage expectations openly
·Manage and develop the team resource to enable team members to capitalise on their strengths whilst creating and maintaining broad skill base to ensure flexibility
·Working with Organisational Development research, design and deliver management and leadership development solutions that bridge identified development gaps and meet the long term needs of the Business Plan/L&D Strategy.
