Bond Williams Accounting & Finance are recruiting a Financial Accountant for a large charity based in Bournemouth.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will have responsibility for analysing and improving financial processes and systems in order to embrace significant forthcoming change in the organisation. Specifically, you would manage the development of a document management system, implement an automated bank reconciliation module within the existing accounting system and investigate the replacement of a new client database system and generally ensure the integrity of processes, controls and systems across the business.
You would also have input to the budgeting process, prepare and reconcile monthly control accounts, prepare various monthly financial reports, assist with preparation of statutory accounts manage the transaction processing and any other ad hoc duties.
You will need to have a min of 3-5 years accounting and staff management experience, together with Advanced Excel and good knowledge of systems and processes. You will need to be CCAB part or fully qualified and also have good communication skills. Good working environment, 37.5 hours, pension and parking.
