We are looking to recruit a Head of MIS / BA to work in a well established Bournemouth based organisation. The successful MI Analyst will be capable of optimising the organisations information assets to facilitate strategic decision making. Project management skills are essential to this role as our client continually develops their systems to achieve greater process efficiencies and improved user experience.
You will have extensive knowledge in SQL and understand the PRINCE 2 methodology for the delivery of projects. In depth experience in designing information systems and integrating databases is essential as well as the ability to generate reports using Reporting Services. Knowledge of data warehousing, OLAP and reporting/analytics tools and associated hardware is also required as this will form a crucial part of the role.
Excellent communication and influencing skills are required to engage with colleagues at all levels of the organisation, including those with limited technical knowledge. You will be an experienced team leader with the ability to develop staff whilst achieving challenging defined objectives. There is a significant element of cross team working which will require excellent negotiating and diplomatic skills.
