Bond Williams Accounting & Finance are recruiting a Finance Assistant for a dynamic firm of Chartered Accountants that specialises in accountancy, taxation and company secretarial advice to freelancers and contractors trading through limited companies.

You would work closely with a Client/Portfolio Manager and specific duties would be: processing and reconciliation of accounting transactions provided by clients on line and this would include review and correction of accounting and tax data, reconciliations and compilation of draft returns, statements and reports including preparation and submission of on line personal tax forms, bank reconciliations, VAT returns, assisting with year end financial accounts and maintaining companies house records.

No formal qualification is required, but the position would suit candidates with good numerical skills and previous experience in an accounts department in a sales, purchase or reconciliation role. This experience could be gained within a commercial business, financial services, HMRC or a firm of accountants. Full training would be given on all the firm's bespoke systems and processes.
