QA/Test Engineer required Bournemouth based leader in their industry to work with product managers and customers to understand product requirements· You will work with software developers to define and document testing approach and processe, within an agile environment and represent QA at stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives. This new opportunity includes to run manual and automated tests in different environments including web and mobile.

Reporting to the CTO you will:
·Work with product managers and customers to understand product requirements
·Work with software developers to define and document testing approach and processes
·Work within an agile environment and represent QA at stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives
·Run manual and automated tests in different environments including web and mobile
·Provide objective feedback to software developers
·Create meaningful error handling procedures
·Investigate bugs and resolve customer issues by working with developers, product managers and customer service team; write bug and defect reports in Jira
·Identify potential problems and communicate risks to stakeholders

Desired Skills and Experience
Pragmatic agile tester with strong sense of ownership, able to take initiative and push quality standards
·Knowledge of best practice industry QA processes, tools and techniques
·Experience of creating test strategies, test plans and test cases
·Some technical appreciation of modern web and mobile technologies including Javascript, PHP and iOS
·Experience of testing applications including maps and geo data
·Experience testing APIs and 3rd party integrations
·Experience using tools like Firebug, JMeter, Selenium, Appium etc
·Ability to work with senior client managers as well as client technical teams
·Excellent problem solving skills and perfectionist approach to work
·Good communication, team work and time management skills
4+ years experience testing web applications
