Network and Systems Support Analyst
Job Purpose:
To provide primarily network and communications development and support, as well as supporting client and internal server based systems.
Working on client and internal systems to proactively monitor and maintain them as well as resolving network and server related Incidents and Requests.
The role also includes project based work undertaking lead technical responsibilities.
Key responsibilities:
·Technical Responsibilities
Managing, troubleshooting and developing client and internal networks and systems
Investigating, analysing and recommending solutions and technologies for client and internal systems
Reporting and advising on network/system availability and capacity
Escalated Service Requests and Incidents
Problem Management
Project Engineering
·Communicate with clients via telephone, e-mail and remote support tools to resolve Incidents and Service Requests
·Attend client sites when required
·On occasion work outside of your normal hours at short notice to resolve client Service Requests
·Undertake pre-arranged out of hours work
·Minimum of one week per month on the out of hours support rota
·Availability out of hours to assist with Priority 1 network incidents
·Utilise internal Service Management systems and any other tools required to complete your role
·Undertake any responsibilities highlighted in the RASCI Matrix
·Management of your own time and resolution of Service Requests within SLA
·Strive for continuous improvement in everything you do
·Undertake any training required
·Documentation of client and internal systems

Required Experience:
·Minimum of 3 years' experience working in a network support role
·Minimum of 3 years supporting Microsoft Windows Server systems
·Worked in either an IT outsourcing organisation or an IT department supporting 100+ users
