HR Advisor - £25k to £30k - Bournemouth - 12 month FTC
Bond Williams are delighted to be working with a cutting edge technology company for the recruitment of a HR Advisor. You will provide generalist HR support to the business to include all HR administration and ensuring the department is consistent with the company values and legal requirements.
Summary of main duties and responsibilities:
Employee Relations
·Provide advice and guidance on day to day employee relations issues such as absence, conduct and capability, disciplinary and grievance matters.
·Assisting in analysing situations to aid the decision making process against best practice and requesting external advice as appropriate. This may include acting as the investigating officer or supporting the line manager at disciplinary and grievance meetings by preparing documents and taking meeting notes.
·Ensure the staff handbook, employee policies and contract templates are up to date and fit for purpose both legally and culturally.
·Day to day management of HR and Recruitment team, including 1-2-1's, performance reviews and probation reviews where necessary.
Recruitment
·Support the recruitment and selection process by supplying accurate information to the recruitment coordinator, as well as assisting with appropriate creation of documentation and support of assessments where necessary.
·Ensure the recruitment team are carrying out all employment checks, and that they are completed efficiently and held in the company's records.
Compensation and Benefits
·Undertake research as directed by the Leadership team in order to provide recommendations. This may include flexible benefits schemes, pay surveys etc.
·Draft pay and benefits letters and communications for board/management approval and signing.
HR Administration
·Be responsible for the maintenance of the HR administration systems in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
·Ensure all employee employment records are easily accessible to authorised personnel and are up to date and accurate.
·Identify, design and implement changes to systems related to legislative or business updates.
As the ideal candidate you will have:-
·To possess the ability to work in a confidential and discrete manner
·To be willing to take direction from the Directors
·The ability to complete end to end administration of the role
·Highly developed interpersonal skills
·Experience dealing with HR administration
·Level 5 CIPD Qualification
·Practical understanding of employment law and its implementation
·Day to day knowledge and understanding of HR policies and processes e.g. performance management, appraisals, disciplinary, grievance, absence management.
