Network Engineer – IP/SIP – Bournemouth - £35k - £40k.
Our prestigious client requires an experienced service desk network engineer with advanced IP networking skills.
As the Senior Network Engineer you will be the technical lead for the service desk in the area of IP networking, SIP and would be the core focal point for escalations from service desk colleagues and includes providing first class technical support to Infrastructure customers.
Technical skills required:
o Strong technical knowledge with network devices including Firewalls, LAN/WLAN switches , routers and telephone systems
o A good understanding of network protocols IPv4, IPSec, VPN, VLAN, LACP, BGP, OSPF, VRF, RIP, MPLS, VOIP & SIP
oScripting languages (Shell, Perl, PHP) and Linux experience would be advantageous
