Personal Injury Solicitor – 2 PQE up to Associate level
Salisbury

Our client, a legal 500 firm in Swindon are looking to recruit a Personal Injury Solicitor from 2 years PQE up to Associate level.

You will be working for a national firm specialising in serious personal injury claims which include brain injuries, spinal injuries, complex medical negligence and asbestos-illness cases.

Key Responsibilities

To provide a proactive, effective and considerate service to the Team's clients demonstrated by effective handling of client files (under supervision), prompt attention to incoming post, emails and telephone calls and using initiative, planning and technical skills to keep the client's case progressing in a timely and effective fashion.

Provide and record legal advice to clients in accordance with these technical areas of specialism; and maintaining regular liaison with clients, colleagues/Client Partner and any relevant professionals.

The work requires team work and strong working relationships to progress clients' cases and instructions and also to make the whole team an effective business unit. This will mean working with those directly involved in each client's case and also with the wider team and colleagues in other disciplines within the firm. Where required to assist in the supervision of other members of staff in the team and engage in a proactive and constructive way to the team's strategy. A co-operative manner and the desire to "chip in" whenever necessary is essential.

The desirable experience is as follows;

• 2+ years PQE with experience of serious injury - For more senior roles, experience of handling higher value, more complex claims is essential.
• Experience in handling personal injury claims is essential
• Able to work under pressure and prioritise
• Excellent communication skills with the client, medical experts, witnesses and other parties
