We are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join an impressive and growing international based manufacturing organisation. This is a permanent position to be based in Hamble and you will provide support to the existing HR Manager & her team of 11 HR staff. The successful candidate will provide accurate and timely Employee Relations advice to ensure the business retains and develops its workforce (2000 FTE) to the highest levels of effectiveness, through supporting the managers and ensuring the company acts fairly towards all employees.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:-

  • Provide HR information and advice to managers and employees whilst maintaining an effective relationship
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant current employment legislation through a consistent and fair design and application of company policies and procedures
  • Facilitate and advise on disciplinary matters, grievances, capability matter, dismissals and any resulting legal implications
  • Manage the on-site performance review process to ensure both managers and staff have regular opportunities to review objectives, performance and skills required
  • Promote and record training opportunities for staff
  • Update & maintain all HR records so they are accurate, up to date, and auditable
  • Creating reports for management using excel

You will require the following skills and experience:-

  • Experience of working in HR specifically with strong day to day ER experience
  • CIPD qualified
  • Working knowledge of Employment Law
  • Knowledge of HR and training best practice and business fit
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • High standard of written English
  • Strong PC Skills (Intermediate Excel and Word)
  • Professional approach
  • Ability to influence others to work to deadlines and policies
  • Able to manage key relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • Be approachable, calm and assertive when required
