This is an exciting opportunity for a designer to join our busy in-house design team at a time when we are relaunching our brand. As part of the Corporate Communications Team, the role helps deliver graphic design services for University communication and marketing projects that are high quality, impactful and meet our corporate objectives.

Working under the direction of the manager of Corporate Communications, the post holder will produce concepts, design and artwork of a range of marketing and information collateral for print and digital.  You will work with Corporate Communications colleagues to develop ideas and work proactively with clients to provide design solutions and meet deadlines. You will also assist with print estimates and maintain housekeeping of all design work.

You will be an ambassador to the brand helping to advise staff on current and new corporate brand guidelines.  There will also be opportunity to collaborate with an external agency to implement the new brand.

About You:

You will have a degree in graphic design, or equivalent qualification, and be able to demonstrate significant experience of working in a design studio or in-house design team. You must be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud working across print and digital.

With a flexible can-do attitude, you will also be strong on creative thinking, attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be able to work well in a team as well as on your own initiative and clearly communicate your ideas.
