The Institute of Sport is delighted to be working in partnership with the Football Association (FA) in supporting this role which will support the FA national vision of developing the game through innovation and excellence in Football Coaching.


The Coach Development Officer will be taking the lead on behalf of the University and work in collaboration with the FA in the development of coaches in the Hampshire and Sussex regions, working at both grassroots and the elite level of the women''s and girls'' game.


The purpose of this role is to drive collaboration between the University, local football providers and the local County FA(s), to support the successful development of a creative & effective coach development programme to provide female players with consistent and fit for purpose coaching.


We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and approachable team player who is able to work independently and has experience of grassroots football and player development. It is essential that you hold a UEFA B Coaching Licence and understand the FA LTPD-4 corner model and have a complete understanding of FA DNA, coaching and learning philosophies.


Your application should demonstrate a modern, progressive approach to coaching and learning, experience of developing young player/coach and your ability to provide effective and constructive feedback with a solution focussed approach.
